These terms govern your use of the Hide My BF app and this website. By using the app, you agree to them.

Using the app

Hide My BF gives you a private, encrypted vault on your own device. You are responsible for the content you choose to store and for using the app lawfully and only with information you have the right to keep. Don't use the app to break the law or to violate someone else's rights.

Your PIN and your data

Your vault is encrypted with a key tied to credentials you control. We cannot recover your vault if you lose your PIN and key — this is a deliberate security property, not a limitation we can override. Keep your PIN safe and consider an encrypted backup. You are responsible for safeguarding your own access.

Premium and billing

Some features require a Premium purchase, sold through Google Play Billing as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's policies.

Acceptable use

  • Don't reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to defeat the app's security except as allowed by law.
  • Don't use the app to store content you are not legally permitted to possess.
  • Don't resell or redistribute the app or its Premium access.

Availability

We work to keep the app reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change, and we may update or discontinue parts of the app over time.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for loss of data resulting from a forgotten PIN, a lost key, device failure, or your own actions. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
